Testimonial
George Brown, 67

George Brown, 67, a retired engineer, was seriously injured in the work place 47 years ago, and ever since has been in almost constant pain.

"As I got older the problems became worse until I was virtually housebound. I have been to pain clinics, had nerve blocks, etc etc" All to no avail.

In the middle of 2004, George decided to try Acticare TSE.

"I thought why not give this a try, I had nothing to loose. I found that after about a week of using the device I was able to do things without thinking that were a real struggle before. Unbelievably, my life has virtually returned to normal, whereas before I was housebound, today I am out and about etc."

Sciatica

Sciatica is a condition suffered by many people in the Australia and the world and can be excruciatingly painful and highly intractable. The condition is often caused by a herniated disc or other spinal abnormality.

The mechanism through which this causes pain is that the hernia or inflammation impinges on the sensitive sciatic nerve and basically squashes it. The sciatic nerve tells the brain that it is being squashed by sending a pain signal back the brain. Since the sciatic nerve is a conduit for information from the lower parts of the body the pain signal it transmits is misunderstood by the brain as a pain usually down one side of the lower body (for example starting in the bottom and going down through one leg to the end of the foot).

Sciatica is often more painful when we sit down (since the spine is more compressed and can increase the pressure on the nerve where the damage is) and it may well be the case that we simply cannot get comfortable. Sciatica ranges from an intermittent shooting pain to a permanent all over sensation of burning or tingling or even numbness in the lower body usually down one side.

If you find that you have this kind of pain you should consult your doctor. However most sciatic causing conditions can be treated and the sciatica can be reduced or even removed. A typical treatment could be a course of anti-inflammatory drugs (reducing inflammation around the sciatic nerve and consequently relieving the pressure on it). It is also the case that physiotherapy can be used to manipulate the spine or build muscle up. Surgery is also an option where impinging material is removed from around the sciatic nerve.

However, whilst these conditions are being treated one often needs complementary treatments to manage the pain of sciatica. Acticare TSE is an excellent choice because it acts directly on the nerves in the spinal cord, reducing the sensation of pain at its source.

Acticare TSE works by blocking the pain signal from reaching the brain by preventing it from traveling up the spinal cord. Significantly and as a direct consequence of the spinal delivery of TSE it works as effectively for multiple painful areas as it does for localised pain. TSE has no known side affects (and so can be used as often as required) and does not involve any surgery. You simply place two pads on your back (one at the back of the neck and one in the middle of your back on your spine) and switch it on. You can even carry on with your daily activities whilst it is working.

You can order Acticare TSE online or for Australian residents if you call us on 1800 07 04 08 you can pay by four monthly installments so you can own an Acticare device for the equivalent of as little as 25 dollars per week . Of course in the unlikely event that you find that Acticare TSE is not appropriate for you for any reason then as long as you return the device within 28 days of receipt you will get a full refund. The only cost to you will be return postage (which is approximately 6-10 dollars in Australia). To try Acticare TSE now, click here.
